Golf Rangefinder with advanced Targetseek
technology & new smarter Scan Mode

Features

  • COMPACT AND LIGHTWEIGHT

Rangemaster X7 Tour easily fits in the palm of your hand, but is just as powerful and accurate as competing rangefinders.

  • FAST

One button operation – point, press and know. Get the correct distance to whatever target you want on any course instantly. Unlike a GPS, no course downloads required.

  • ACCURATE

Rangemaster X7 Tour is accurate to +/- 1m.

  • SCAN MODE

Your Rangemaster can read multiple targets as you pan the device across a playing area, letting you know instantly the distance of each target.

  • TARGETSEEKER

…or point at the green and Rangemaster will pick out the distance to the flag from the surrounding background – older technology could have you aiming at a tree beyond the green instead costing you valuable shots.

  • LONG BATTERY LIFE

As the Rangemaster is only on for the few seconds required for each scan you can easily achieve months of regular golf use from a single battery – and we include the first on free of charge – not like when you bought toys as a kid!

  • TOURNAMENT AND COMPETITION-LEGAL

Rangemaster X7 Tour is legal for official handicapped competition play in Australian.

How It works

Laser rangefinders use a safe, invisible, low-powered laser to measure distance. The laser is sent from the front of the device to the desired target, and the on-board electronics calculate the distance from the time taken by the reflected laser light to complete the round trip back to the rangefinder. This happens almost instantly – telling you the distance you need to know exactly when you want to know it – and saving you shots.

Pro Tips - How to use your RangeMaster

  • “When you are measuring the distance to the hole and pin, put the crosshair on the flag. It’s much easier to range the flag, not the pin.”
  • “Scan mode is the best way to range the flag (as opposed to single button push). If you are ranging the flag but unsure if you are on the flag or not, scan over to the trees behind the flag, you’ll have confidence you are on the flag as it will be the shorter distance.”
  • “For a quick reading, just range the green underneath the flag. You won’t have to hold your hand so steady.”
  • “The longer the distance, the more steady rest is necessary for ranging. Use a two handed rest for long distance.”
  • “For the long par 5 drive, range the approach not the pin as the rangefinder is not attended to range pins on par 5’s.”
  • “You can range everything! Range trees, water, bushes and bunkers in an effort to find your distances to clear obstacles.”
  • “Keep a clear line of sight. Make sure there aren’t any branches, leaves or grass. If there are, just move around a bit to help lock in an accurate reading.”
  • “Before ranging anything, take a guess on distance and incline, it will train your eye for when your unable to use your RangeMaster.”

Laser accuracy Review by GolferNut

I prefer the accuracy of a laser rangefinder compared to GPS, thats why I bought a RangeMaster. I can play on any course and use the laser rangefinder and do not need to recharge it. (Posted on 31/07/2012)
Great Rangefinder! Review by TigerW

Very good laser rangefinder, pretty much the same machine as the Bushnell V2, but the RangeMaster have stronger magnification 6x compared to 5x for the Bushie... Why pay more just for the brand, I think this one looks better as well. (Posted on 31/07/2012)
Better than my GPS Review by birdynamnam

I have had several GPS's, Skycaddie, Sureshot and Sonocaddies and have thoroughly enjoyed them all. But they can't give me the distance to the flag!! My RangeMaster can and that is why this laser golf rangefinder is still in my bag, best rangefinder no doubt. (Posted on 31/07/2012)
I recommend scan mode Review by Andrew56

I use scan mode all the time, off the tee to check distances to bunkers, hazards and trees and from the fairway to get distances to the flag, front of green, greenside bunker. It's phenomenal!! (Posted on 31/07/2012)
Improves my game! Review by Scotty
I am a weekend hack but this rangefinder has definitely changed my game to the better. I am more confident with my club selection and I dont have to guess my distances. My hcp has come down so might be because of the RangeMasters:) Highly recommended!! (Posted on 31/07/2012)
Affordable and accurate Review by Dr.Bogey
I have used several different rangefinders last 5 years both gps and laser. I found this smart compact laser from Rangemaster to be one of the best and most affordable rangefinders out ther in the market. I use my Rangemaster all the time and I like to think I play better now as my handicap has come down by 2 points from 15.3 to 13.1. (Posted on 10/07/2012)
Scan mode o the green Review by SoulGolfer
I bought the RangeMaster because of scan mode. My golf mate have a laser rangefinder and I have tried it many times on the course and was always impressed with the accuracy and the scan mode feature. So easy to range distances on the course with scan mode, now I can't play without my rangefinder. (Posted on 2/07/2012)
Very good! Review by Hockey11
I have used my rangemaster now for a couple of weeks and am very happy with its performance. I use it once or twice a week mainly in club comps and its been really helpful getting my distances right. Saves me time as well, because I don't have to check sprinkler heads for distances and then try and estimate the actual distance to the flag. With the rangemaster I just aim at the flag or the green and get an instant distance. Hopefully now when my distances are correct my handicap will follow suit!! Highly recommended.
